Speak Your Truth Today amplifies the voices of victims and survivors of DV

Speak Your Truth Today was sparked when one woman opened up about the story of her abusive marriage on Facebook (read it here). She made a post on her 24th birthday to bring awareness to domestic violence against women, however, as it grew more popular, men who suffered DV and adults who suffered child abuse also came forward, sharing their stories. So, on a whim, she made a Facebook group for DV victims & survivors - in hopes they could share encouragement and resources to those recovering from abuse.

"Empathy and Self-Love are learned skills that we must foster through our everyday interactions."

This organization addresses the values of acceptance and freedom for those who have been discriminated simply because they identify as LGBTQ+. They believe that everyone deserves a life where they're allowed to be themselves, without having to conceal who they are or face consequences from a society that doesn't accept them. We agree with this mission statement and want people in the world today to be allowed to live their lives freely.
